Last week was the first One Gaston 2040 week! To celebrate, we held our annual One Gaston 2040 All Teams Summit at CaroMont Health Park.
The theme of this year’s Summit was “Thrives." To thrive means to grow vigorously- to flourish. And that is what we want for Gaston County. The goal of One Gaston 2040 is for everyone to meet their needs and enjoy healthy lives- for individuals, businesses, neighborhoods, organizations, and local governments to be energized by their vibrant community. We want the County to grow. We want it to flourish. We want it to thrive.
The focus area teams are working hard to ensure Gaston County continues to thrive. At the Summit, the teams shared their progress, explored ways to collaborate, and charted the year ahead. They learned about thriving communities and shared their aspirations for our county. We are thrilled by what the teams accomplished at the Summit. As we focus on thriving in the year ahead, we can't wait to see what's to come!
